Programmatic API access is a Pro feature. If you're on a Pro plan you can create and manage your own API key — there's no need to email us for one.
Getting a key
- Go to app.altindex.com → Settings → API.
- Create a key. It is shown once — copy and store it securely. We only keep a hashed version and cannot show it to you again.
- You can have one active key at a time. Revoke and recreate if it's lost or compromised.
If you don't see the API section
- It's Pro-only. Free and Starter plans don't include API access. Upgrade to Pro to enable it. (See I upgraded but don't see it if you've upgraded and still don't see it.)
- If your plan lapses or downgrades, existing keys are automatically revoked.
Security
Treat your API key like a password. Support will never ask you to send it to us — see what support will never ask you for.
